this is not for good, this time

September 26,the weather was not right.

Dripping water from the ceiling.
I'm awaken by the strong winds.
I'm still drooling that time.
T&B, it's the only place where serenity prevails.
I took a bath.
Ready for saturday class but the rain hinders me to do so.
Gust in its pure form.
I can't help but to neglect how the winds make my umbrella stumble cause im running out of time.
It's already 7:30AM and I'm sure that i'm late. But i'm not, I arrived to my class with my 18 classmates.

I'm fucking wet.
As in.
Asshole.

I know there's a tropical storm out there.
Ondoy is the name, havoc is the game.

We and my classmates were not aware that time that other places like Marikina and Cainta are engulfed in such devastating flood caused by the non-stop falling of rain since friday night. We decided to go home cause we know it will be more dangerous if we stayed in the school for a long period of time.

Nevermind of the heavy rain and strong winds,we go off and face the mayhem Ondoy has. The whole campus is like a pandemonium. There's a little hope for us There's only one jeepney ready to take off, just waiting for stranded passengers. So we rode on that jeepney. We established composure within ourselves.

We were OK.

But that's what we thought. After that violent downpour,we will be facing an overwhelming flow of water. Muntinlupa is flooded. We were frightened by the thinking that we will be cornered by the raging water at the front of the municipal hall of Muntinlupa. Scared by the flood, we thought that our jeepney will go off busted but thank God that we surpassed that point. We reached Alabang terminal and we were ready to go to our homes but still, the blow of Ondoy was still a burden for us. Until I reached the van that will transport me to my home. I can see from the window Ondoy which is stil wreaking havoc to the other people who is still trapped in a deluge that they didn't imagine to encounter.

Tangina! di maganda yung nangyari.

Muntik na tumirik yung jeep namen. Grabe talaga.

Di ko inimagine yun no.

Malay ko bang ganon yung magiging epekto nuun. Buti nalang may mga taong magaganda ang loob at patuloy na tumutulong sa mga nasalanta. I can't imagine the story that my friend from Ateneo told me na sa Bulacan daw, isang truck yung patay. Grabe. Namatay din yung pinsan ng classmate ko sa may Cupang, Muntinlupa. He was electrocuted. Shit talaga.

But the times like this will prove our bayanihan talaga. Di tumitigil yung mga tumutulong sa mga affected areas. Swerte kami kasi yung house namen nasa mountaintop kaya di kame naabot ng baha. But my relatives in Paranaque were engulfed din so di maiwasan na malungkot.

I hope we can still survive extreme weather conditions like Ondoy just gave us kasi si bagyong pepeng nanalasa naman sa Catanduanes. Hay.

Maybe this is a wake up call for us na maging matino na tayo at pangalagaan natin ang mayaman nating kalikasan.

sabi nga "God forgives, Men sometimes forgive, but nature never forgives."

Ingat tayong lahat and don't forget...fervently pray....
